Richard Peshkin, Composer/Lyricist
Richard began writing music as a child and studied music composition at the Horace Mann School in New York. Throughout his career as a medical doctor, Richard continued writing pop music without interruption, composing songs for a myriad of projects. Richard's musical influences include Burt Bacharach, Carole King and Jimmy Webb. After collaborating on pop songs that were evaluated by Atlantic Records and other labels, the recurring message from studio executives was that Richard's songs were "too Broadway." By the time a friend asked him to contribute a ballad to a movie screenplay, Richard had retired from medicine and was bitten by the musical theatre bug. His prowess at tennis, his other passion, earned him the nickname “Ace,” just like the character in Boca Bound.

Bonnie Logan, Librettist
Bonnie’s long, distinguished career in the field of organizational development was followed by years of building a family business in Virginia. Throughout those years, Bonnie was an avid consumer of theatre, always drawn to the stories being told onstage. In 2017, while convalescing from an injury, Bonnie was presented with the opportunity to write a story for the stage. Pulling from her lifelong knowledge of human behavior and her love of storytelling, Bonnie dove into creating and writing the story of Boca Bound. It is her hope that audiences will find something of themselves in her characters.
